Olivia Goldner

Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Class of 2024

Olivia Goldner is in her second year at Loyola University Chicago School of Law and will graduate in 2024. She is an associate editor of her school’s health law journal, The Annals of Health Law and Life Sciences. And she almost didn’t make it to the legal side of healthcare innovation! Prior to attending law school, she was planning to have a career on the clinical side of healthcare, and she worked as a phlebotomist and a medical assistant.

Olivia is eager to explore the world of healthcare innovation. She says, “I am most excited to dive right in and learn about the healthcare innovation and digital landscape field that is uniquely central to NGL’s practice.  I have been interested in healthcare for as long as I remember, and I’m looking forward to expanding my knowledge of the field beyond the clinical background that I have.”

She cites Remote Patient Monitoring as one of the most exciting innovations in healthcare today. Olivia says, “As technologies continue to advance, I think it will be an incredibly important tool in increasing access to healthcare and patient engagement.  I believe it will help to narrow many of the access gaps that stem from lack of transportation, limited availability, and cost of care.”

When it comes to social causes, Olivia is most passionate about women’s reproductive rights and expanding family and parental leave laws.

When she’s not studying or working in law, Olivia runs a custom cookie decorating business with her mom.

Welcome to the team, Olivia!
