Sam Pinson

Samuel Pinson, Esq. is a Florida-licensed attorney and Healthcare Innovation Counsel at Nixon Law Group. His practice spans a range of regulatory and transactional matters including complex commercial contracting, corporate structuring, early-stage business transactions, healthcare and AI regulatory compliance (including FDA SaMD, HIPAA, AKS/Stark, and related state laws), and reimbursement strategy. Sam holds Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) certification, the first and only credential focused specifically on AI governance, developed to align with emerging global standards.

With a strong focus on the intersection of law and business, Sam offers tailored, practical solutions to help clients navigate complex legal challenges and enter new markets. He represents clients across the digital health and health tech landscape, including virtual care, artificial intelligence, telemedicine, remote monitoring, consumer health, digital therapeutics, concierge medicine, and food-as-medicine companies that are creating the future of healthcare.

Sam is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, where he focused on transactional studies, was a member of the International and Comparative Law Review, and participated in the inaugural Transactional Skills Program. Before joining Nixon Law Group, Sam spent several years interning with national organizations in a variety of sectors, culminating in a position at a private-equity-backed healthcare group practice.

Sam enjoys spending time with family, golfing (sometimes), exploring and cooking new cuisines, and distilling healthcare and business publications. Sam resides in Miami, Florida.
