Samuel Pinson, Esq. is a Florida-licensed attorney and Healthcare Innovation Counsel at Nixon Gwilt Law. Sam advises growth-stage and mature healthcare clients on a variety of transactional and regulatory matters throughout their lifecycle, including commercial contracting, data privacy, reimbursement strategy, AI governance, and fraud and abuse frameworks.

Sam focuses on the intersection of law and business to provide legal counsel that is as actionable as it is bespoke. Sam focuses on a variety of sub-sectors within the digital health and health tech ecosystem, including virtual care, artificial intelligence, remote monitoring, and food-as-medicine/ nutrition.

Sam is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, where he focused on transactional studies, was a member of the International and Comparative Law Review, and participated in the inaugural Transactional Skills Program. Before joining Nixon Gwilt Law, Sam spent several years interning with national organizations in a variety of sectors, culminating in a position at a private-equity-backed healthcare group practice.

Sam enjoys spending time with family, golfing (sometimes), exploring and cooking new cuisines, and distilling healthcare and business publications. Sam resides in Miami, Florida.
