Access to mental health care is a growing challenge across the nation, and there is a serious workforce shortage. Along with other factors such as stigma, low reimbursement, and insurance coverage gaps, this contributes to an environment in which nearly 60% of American adults with a mental illness do not receive treatment.

At Nixon Law Group, we believe in the importance of supporting non-physician behavioral providers. Licensed clinical social workers (LCSW), licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFT), licensed professional counselors (LPC), and other mental health professionals provide a significant amount of mental health services in the U.S., and assist physicians, psychiatrists, and other providers in addressing the serious mental health needs of our communities. Despite the significance of their contributions, these professionals work for smaller reimbursement and therefore their businesses have with tighter margins than their physician counterparts. That means they often can't afford high quality legal services, and we don't think that's right.

Therefore, we developed an offering specifically for entrepreneurs and business owners in small behavioral health practices. These clients receive the same breadth of services we offer to physician practices, but for a significantly discounted rate.

Fee Schedule for Small Non-Physician Behavioral Health Providers


Major Metropolitan Areas

This offering is available to small non-physician behavioral health care providers (companies with between one and five licensed professionals) located in major metropolitan areas. These bundles are prepaid, renewable, and non-expiring. If you are participating in our prepaid bundles 20 hours and above you will receive a one-hour complimentary strategy session per year. 

  • 10-hour Bundle:   $3,000 ($300/hour)

  • 20-hour Bundle:   $5,500 ($275/hour)

Non-Prepaid Hourly Rate:   

  • $325/hour

  • $1,500 deposit

Non-Metropolitan Areas

This offering is available to small non-physician behavioral health care providers (companies with between one and five licensed professionals) located outside major metropolitan areas. These bundles are prepaid, renewable, and non-expiring. If you are participating in our prepaid bundles 20 hours and above you will receive a one-hour complimentary strategy session per year. 

  • 10-hour Bundle:   $2,850 ($285/hour)

  • 20-hour Bundle:   $5,500 ($275/hour)

Non-Prepaid Hourly Rate:   

  • $300/hour

  • $1,500 deposit
