Nixon Law Group Welcomes Dr. James Gillespie as Chief Healthcare Innovation Officer

VIRGINIA, September 3, 2019/Nixon Law Group, PLLC - Nixon Law Group, a leading health care law firm representing innovative healthcare providers and health technology companies, announced today that James Gillespie, PhD, MA, JD, MPA has joined the Firm as its Chief Healthcare Innovation Officer. Dr. Gillespie will be based in Chicago, Illinois, expanding Nixon Law Group’s reach in the MidWest and providing strategic consulting services to new and current NLG clients.

Leveraging his extensive experience as an entrepreneur and executive, James will work with Nixon Law Group clients in a variety of ways, including creating business units for new products and services, developing the right strategy around financing for start-ups, implementing best practices, and promoting a culture of innovation.

In addition to his role at Nixon Law Group, James is a Senior Advisor & Consultant at Stanford University School of Medicine Clinical Excellence Research Center, a Research Affiliate at Yale University School of Medicine Center for Digital Healthcare & Innovation, and President & Co-Founder of the non-profit Center for Healthcare Innovation. He holds a PhD, MA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management, JD from Harvard University School of Law, MPA from Princeton University Woodrow Wilson School of Public Affairs, and BS from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
