Mike Signer is Managing Principal of Madison Law & Strategy Group, PLLC, a boutique where he provides regulatory and policy intelligence and strategy to clients, with a focus on energy, financial regulation, and national security. He has worked with Fortune 500 companies, institutional investors, major nonprofits and think tanks, political campaigns at the Presidential, Congressional, and statewide levels, industry coalitions, and start-ups to provide a wide range of strategic counseling services.
A former counselor to Governor Mark Warner in Richmond, Virginia, Mike was a candidate for the Democratic nomination for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia in 2009. While an attorney at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr, Mike was a member of the firm’s Public Policy and Strategy Group and the Government Litigation Group.
